In England, landlords are legally required to hold a valid Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) and a Gas Safety Certificate (CP12) for any property with gas appliances. Fire Risk Assessments are also mandatory for HMOs and communal areas.
How often do I need to renew my EICR?+
